I was browsing around Facebook earlier this evening and came across a very familiar quote by Plato: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle”. The beauty of this quote is that it doesn’t just take into the consideration of the self but also of others.

Kindness is contagious, and so are smiles. I think people should become more intentional with the way they interact with others. When we reflect on how we feel in the midst of others, and the way they treat us, we become more aware of how we start to treat them in return. Regardless of how busy (or not so busy) your life may be, don’t forget that this journey of life is shared by all with each other. Be kind and understanding always, because one day the one who fights the great battle may be you – so who will be there for you?

On a side note: I GOT MY PERSONALIZED STARBUCKS CARD IN THE MAIL TODAY! Yay!
